That's it. Of course a great imagination helps :)
1. Open a new transparent Image 400x400
Name this balloon and save to a file so we only have to click on the save disk image at the top to save every step we can....
I won't remind you to do this so REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN!
2. Go to Effects->Artistic Effects->Balls And Bubbles
3. Under the shapes tab Single Ball Or Bubble and Click Maximum Possible Size.
4. Set The Surface Tab As Seen Below
5> On the Maps tab -> Check Bump Map. Find the twirl as seen below be sure you click Fit Bump Map.
Smoothness= 0, Depth= 1.
6. Set The Illumination Tab As Seen Below.
7. Go To Effects->Geometric Effects->Perspective Vertical, put in the number -50. Check Transparent. Click ok. Your balloon should now look like the second picture below. (yours will be bigger than mine) Now Is a good time to save.
8. Take your magic wand and select an area outside of your image, then click on Selections at the top, and click Invert. Only your balloon should be selected now. (has marching ants around it)
9. We are going to add some color to our balloon (or you may leave it clear if you like)
Add a new raster Layer and Use the cut out as pictured below.
Add a new raster layer and do a second cut out changing Vertical
to -6 and horizontal to -9. Keep Selected. Now Is a good time to save.
The shadow color I used is #FF4040.
10. Click on Picture Tubes Tools, Find the Jasc Tube of Colored Streamers, Set Scale to 30, Leave the rest at the default settings.
Add a new raster Layer, Add some streamers to form a bed for your Gift, Like a birds nest at the bottom of your balloon.
11. When you are happy with your bed for your gift, Go to adjust, Hue and Saturation, And put in corresponding numbers to match the color you made your balloon I am using hue 235 and saturation 100 for my red balloon. Now Is a good time to save.
12. Now we need to resize our balloon to fit the area better so we can add a gift inside and a bow on top. You can deselect your balloon now by clicking on Selections, Select None. Right click on your layer palette and Merge layers visible, Click on image then Resize. I resized mine to 80%. Make sure all layers IS NOT CHECKED. Use your mover tool to move your balloon close to the bottom. Now Is a good time to save.
13. Open the image you want to add to your balloon. Add a new raster layer and add your image to that layer. Move this layer to the bottom so you can see the glare and your gift appears to me in the streamers. Layers Adjust send to bottom. Now Is a good time to save.
14. Open your tube of a Ribbon or bow to place on top of your balloon, Colorize the same as we did the grass and place on top of your Balloon.
That's It you balloon is finished. You can save this in layers to use again and change the gift inside and color to make more. Or Merge Visible. And save as a tube. You can resize this it is a little big, Go to Image resize, 70% all layers, then go to adjust->sharpness and sharpen one time.
