Make your own Easter Bunny Baskets

Supplies:
Clean (empty) Pint Milk Carton
Construction Paper
Glue
Cotton Balls
Pink Yarn
(something to make the eyes)
buttons, gum drops or other candy

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Close the top of the empty carton.
Lay it on its side with the top closed edge vertical.

2. Then on the side which is facing up,
cut along the two long edges and the bottom edge.
Hold flap up slightly and cut it to form two rabbit ears
pointing away from the pointed end of carton.

3. Cover the entire outer part of the
carton with cotton balls including the ears.

4. Use a small piece of yarn to make
outline of pink for the inner ear.

5. Use buttons or whatever you chose to make eyes
and nose on the pointed end of the carton.

6. Place extra cotton balls for tail.

7. Fill carton with Easter grass and candy

Tissue Paper Colored Eggs

Supplies Needed:

Eggs
Tissue Paper or Crepe Paper
Crayon or Felt tip Pen


Draw on the eggs what ever you choose.
Use clear wax or a white crayon for extra nice effects.
My kids like to write their names on the eggs.
Put the color tissue or crepe paper you want to use
in a bowl. Put the egg in the bowl
and allow to set up unitl the egg is the color desired.
Set it aside to dry.
Use different bowls of water for different colored eggs
Glue stuff on the easter eggs.
Some ideas are: sequins, buttons, lace or ribbons,
small pressed flowers, decals, stickers, glitter

Eggshell Mosaic:

Have mom save and wash the eggshells she uses for making
recipes using eggs. Place different colors of food
coloring into different bowls and dip shells into
different colors. Allow the shells to dry thoroughly and
then crush them into small but not too small of pieces.
Draw a picture of an easter bunny, easter basket,
or even an easter egg on a piece of constuction paper,
spread glue on the picture. Cover the picture with the
colored eggshells

Bread Play Dough for Easter

SUPPLIES:

4 slices of Bread
3 tb White Glue
2 dr Lemon or lime juice

DIRECTIONS:

Remove crusts from bread.
Tear into small pieces.
Mix with glue and juice.
Knead.





Make a Easter Egg Tree

Supplies:

1 large empty, clean and dry can (28 oz. or larger)
Glue
Branches at least 2 feet long
Decorated blown Easter eggs
Plaster, sand or something heavy to stabilize the can
Construction paper
String or ribbon
Tape
Markers, crayons, pencil crayons or paints


INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Have mom or dad put a small hole in the egg
and blow out the eggs inside.
You can have scrammbled eggs with it.

2. Decorate your eggs.

3. Attach string or ribbon to the small end of the egg.
Allow time for the glue to dry.

4. Measure construction paper so that it will fit
around the outside of the can.
Decorate the paper anyway you like.
Use glue or tape to fasten the paper to the can.

5. Use plaster, sand or some other heavy
materials to put in the bottom of the can.

6. Arrange your branches in the can.
Make sure they are secure.
You may want to have mom or dad spray them with
some clear laquer to make the colors stay longer.

7. Once your eggs are dry hang them on your tree.
You can also take little pieces of green tissue paper,
crunched up and glue them on the branches to give
the appearance of buds.
Or draw some on construction paper and glue them to the branches.
8. Well you have created your first
"Egg Tree" Great Job......





Egg Bowling

Color some boiled eggs and leave one white.
Roll the white one into the centre of a room and take
Turns to see who can roll their egg
Closest to the white egg.
